Guy & Sally’s wedding was at the beautiful Old Swan & Minster Mill – one of my favourite venues, it’s just such a pretty spot. I was very happy to see Jules Makeup Artistry & Hair Design doing Sally’s make-up, so we all had a laugh while she was getting ready- Jules is great fun to work with and really puts the bride at ease. The ceremony was planned outside under the lovely garden temple, but the weather was touch & go. It was raining right up to the last minute, so the ceremony was called off outside, and then called back on again when the sun came out! They achieved what they wanted which was a very relaxed & informal day with close friends & family and it was an absolute pleasure to photograph them through to the evening lawn games.
David & Emma’s wedding last year at the beautiful Old Swan & Minster Mill in Minster Lovell, Oxfordshire was a bit different – there was a Disney theme, and lots of colourful balloons everywhere (inspired by the film Up). They had their ceremony inside, but did the cake cutting later in the day at the Temple in the gardens – where they also hold outdoor ceremonies. Emma looked stunning in her bespoke made dress (David looked pretty smart too with his superhero cufflinks).
James and Emma had the most perfect day for their wedding in September, it was like we were in a film, everything looked stunning. The ceremony took place outside in the Garden Temple, decorated so beautifully by Joanna Carter Contemporary Flowers. It’s such an amazing spot for a wedding with the two places: the Old Swan and Minster Mill, and loads of grounds, and a pretty stream…perfect!
