Rosie & Philip’s Merriscourt wedding started with Rosie getting ready in the lovely Old House at Merriscourt, with Sharon Roberts doing her hair, and Clare Pinkney make-up – she looked gorgeous. The weather however was anything but gorgeous – we had thunder and lighting and torrential rain most of the morning which didn’t bode well for the rest of the day.
Their ceremony was at Kingham Church, and I felt so sorry for Sarah & Victoria of The Great Little Flower Company putting the flower arch up at the church in torrential rain, but what an amazing job they did.
The rain stopped while we were in the church and as soon as everyone came out we had glorious sunshine and blue sky so we could really appreciate the flowers the girls put up – looking at my photos you wouldn’t think the weather had been so awful before!
We also arrived at Merriscourt in glorious sunshine so could make the most of the lovely fields for photos, and more importantly all the guests could enjoy their drinks & canapes outside overlooking the glorious Cotswolds countryside.
A fabulous day at a fabulous wedding venue here in the Cotswolds which ended in a brilliant party in the barn.
